But before there is Christmas, there is November. And before November, there is Halloween. This year, Halloween was pretty musical. Say hello to Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, and my seldom-used red lipstick.
This year, they also all wanted to go out with their friends, which funnily enough, gave us parents a bit of an evening off (because the downside of our main road is that kids seldom walk along it so no-one came to us...which meant the kids each got a packet of sweets to school for most of November #winning).
November has got to be all about Small Fry....not so small anymore at 12 years of age, and enjoying an Escape Room birthday party from Stirling's Old Town Jail (spoiler alert: they escaped...to McDonalds).
The rest of November was the usual round of school activities, cuddling cats, races (my sprained ankle meant I had to stay on the sidelines on a glorious autumn day which was totally worth it), and school shows (below), before we hit the awesome month of December...taking us to Christmas.
