Thank you for the very cool personalised gift that arrived this morning - alas with no sender's name. Let me know if it was you!!
All over the shop
Apologies for the multiple colour and photo variations of this blog recently. All I wanted was a picture of water as a background template. Blogspot doesn't offer one and although I have plenty of sea pictures, they were either too big (over 300 K) or when small enough, they still had the incorrect dimensions and would appear multiple times. Highly frustrating. If anyone knows how to solve this, do let me know!
The Great Return.
And so it begins.
The One Who Lives in Sudan arrived in the UK on Monday while The One Who Lives in Australia arrived in Paris last night. The One Who Lives in London got in to Stirling yesterday late in the evening and the first three Edinburgh airport pick-ups (including El Puma, yay) come tonight. And Those Who Live in the US plus All Other (from England, Germany, France, Sweden and yes, even Scotland) prepare for departure.
C'est parti.....!

What Happened?
One week we're basking in 23 degree weather, the cherry blossom was out, the verges were covered in bright yellow daffodils, and I even wore a hat.
Exactly one week later and I'm watching the snow falling outside my window. The heating is back on, I've looked the jumpers out again that had already taken residence in my 'winter box' and I'm starting to search for under-dress-thermal-undies!
At least - as it's Scotland - this wasn't totally unexpected. But I do feel awfully sorry for all of those people flying here from hotter climes.
Snowflakes delaying completion of my backyard thingymajig
Can you see the hills? No? That's because they are ALL WHITE!!
